Injuries endured from a motor vehicle accident piqued Elise’s interest in the human bodies ability to heal and ultimately led her to pursue a career in Massage Therapy.
In 2016, after graduating from West Coast College of Massage Therapy and certification, Elise began her career as an RMT in New Westminister. The following year, Elise moved her practice to the North Shore where she built a successful practice. In 2023, Elise made the decision to transition her practice to Squamish, the place she now calls home.
Elise is driven to meet each individuals needs with an evidence-based approach rooted in deep tissue Massage Therapy, while understanding the importance of curating a treatment that is both therapeutic and relaxing. Over the duration of her practice, Elise has developed a wide range of therapeutic techniques such as, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, passive & active stretching, and Swedish massage, all built on the foundation of orthopaedic assessment and patient education.
She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and conditions including chronic injuries, rehabilitation, pre & post natal, and stress and anxiety.
Elise is passionate about promoting a proactive approach to health which can help patients feel in control of their progress
In her spare time, Elise enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and big, handsome dog Bo.
