West coast born and raised, Madison finds her strength and energy in nature. Running, skiing, snowshoeing and canoeing are a few of the activities that have drawn her and her family to the Squamish valley. She recognizes the healing nature of being outside and seeks opportunities to share her love for the outdoors with her family, friends and clients.
Madison has been supporting individuals, couples, parents, children and youth for the past 10 years. Her therapy approach is largely driven by her clients’ unique needs and involves listening, resource-building and practical solutions/skill-building. She uses a collaborative style of treatment with emphasis on relational, cognitive-behavioural, dialectical and emotionally-focused modalities.
Prior to working in private practice, she has had the privilege of supporting people with a variety of concerns in diverse settings including, schools, addictions treatment centres, Indigenous focused services, mental health in rural settings, private health care, family services, and parenting support.
